Billy Bob Deliverance

Just took poor Prince PTT to the dentist to get two teeth extracted. Apparently, it's a fallacy that they pull them out... they actually push them out. As I held my first born's hand trying not to let my cold sweat drip all over him, I tried not to think about the specifics. Luckily, our brilliant dentist, Sue, is super quick and had a Bear Grylls documentary playing on her ceiling TV so it gave me some distracting eye candy and Prince PTT a chance to catch up on his Chiroptera knowledge. 

Here's the result...

They are the ones that are normally the last to come out when you are around 12. Across the top he now only has one great big adult fang with two gaps either side. He'll fit right in if Mr PTT decides to set up shop to deliverance country. Might re-christen him Billy Bob....

Disturbingly, the waiting room had these brochures on prominent display. I'm confused so if anyone could explain it to me, I'd appreciate it.

What we've been up to...

I haven't written for a while as we've had visitors in town and I've been playing tourist guide. Now that things are back on track, I promise more regular instalments of the life and times of a Pseudo Tai Tai. If you've been wondering what we've been up to... here's a round up:

Prince and Princess PTT learnt to drive on a trip to Disney...

Princess PTT fell in love and was a bit annoyed that she had some competition...

She did what any sane girl would do in her situation and went all 'single white female' on Cinders...

We did a bit of time-telling education at the its a small world ride...

There were some great street artists at Disney on our visit. I'd like to be this innovative with a bucket of water and a broom...

Meanwhile, in other news, Prince PTT had his school disco. The theme was 'crazy hats' - I think his choice was exemplary...

We managed to have a little catchup with the girls at good ol' Baccar on Saturday evening to celebrate M's birthday...

We have also discovered the best frozen yoghurt place in town 'Red Mango'. It's ambrosia in a cup...

Prince PTT - The Gringo with the tissue box guitar

Prince PTT had to make a musical instrument for this week's show and tell. Here he is struttin' his stuff with a tissue box guitar complete with sombrero and moustache that was actually meant for Mr PTT to wear to the Hong Kong 7's. I think he can pull the whole look off - don't you?

The Science Museum Excursion

I volunteered to help out with Prince PTT's science museum excursion today...

I have even more admiration for teachers now... They always say children act so much better at school than at home but I didn't see any evidence of it! Here's a couple of very bad pictures as the kids didn't stop moving for the three hours they were at the museum...

Prince PTT's time to shine

One of Prince PTT's modelling agencies requested his presence this week. This one uses their kids for 'back of toy box' photos and Toys R Us catalogues in Northern Europe. 

The only reason I got Prince PTT into modelling was that I thought that it would be cute to have a couple of these boxes and catalogues in his baby book. Turns out that Prince PTT is a natural and he loves it.

Here is Prince PTT waiting for his photo call dressed fetchingly as a werewolf. 

The agency is lovely and they 'pay' Prince PTT in toys; which I guess to a young child is the female adult equivalent of the infamous fashion closet at a glossy magazine. Here is Prince PTT with his loot...

Here he is at home unveiling the treasures to Princess PTT. He's a good big brother and always brings home a selection for her as well.
