Bali - Easter 2012

We had a fabulous time in Bali with Nanny and Grandad PTT and GUK and GAM.

There were stunning new restaurants to explore. Here I am at Sardine - my favourite for the week...

Sardine came complete with pseudo rice paddies to wander whilst you sip your pre-dinner tipple...

There were many cheers to be had throughout the week - especially with these oh-so-refreshing lime margaritas...

This fish was depressed as Mr PTT just ate his kin...

And after, I had the most amazing coconut souffle at Metis...

Another night, the Easter Bunny came to Prince and Princess PTT. In case you were wondering, they left out their pool rings as Easter Baskets....

Most of the baskets were consumed the next day at breakfast...

There were stunning locations for sunset aperitifs. Here I am putting in an obligatory appearance at Rock Bar...

With lots of delicious nibbles to accompany...

Here's Mr PTT in relaxation mode...

Here I am with Nanny PTT having a meaningful mother/daughter moment...

Here's Grandad PTT and Princess PTT - joined at the hip as per usual...

Prince and Princess PTT's highlight was an elephant ride in Ubud courtesy of the Nanny and Grandad PTT Easter Bunny...

One night GUK went all Kimbali on us and decided to cook dinner for everyone  in the villa. It was tres delicious...

One day, I even tried the infamous Kopi Luwak coffee... for the ill-informed it's made from the berries found in the Civet's droppings. A particularly smooth blend I must say...

I even managed a day cycling with Mr PTT...

And met some gorgeous local friends...

More delicious food was had by all...

Mr PTT embraced chillies...

And I embraced large hats to protect my anonymity and my delicate western skin...

This cocktail was particularly soothing offering from Potato Head. You drank the champagne and passionfruit gelati combo on the right first, chased by the passionfruit daiquiri on the left and finally ate the passionfruit (which had been infused with vanilla syrup) in the middle...

Mr PTT and his geek buddies enjoyed a more delicate infusion which came in a tea pot!

Prince PTT learnt to ride a scooter the local Bali children's way i.e. standing between his gorgeous baby sitter's legs up and down the driveway...

Meanwhile, I had cuddles with Ku De Ta's slightly villainous looking easter bunnies...

Finally, Prince PTT went 'all native' and embraced the sarong as resort attire...

All in all we had a wonderful Easter. How was yours?

Yours,

Pseudo Tai Tai xx
